NIBN at a Glance
The National Institute for Biotechnology in the Negev, LTD. (NIBN), a unique Bio accelerator located within Ben-Gurion University (BGU), is the first self-organized, independent research entity established as a company under the auspices of a University in Israel.
Mission & Vision
Our vision is to plant the scientific seeds that will lead to commercialization of innovative and groundbreaking drugs, technologies and therapeutic modalities and contribute to the growth of a successful bio-industry in the Negev and in Israel as a whole, while addressing Bio medical unmet needs for the benefit of the public welfare.
Partnerships & Opportunities
BGU offers NIBN’s member researchers all the conditions necessary to perform applied cutting-edge discovery-driven research. With its Faculties of Engineering, Natural and Health Sciences, its Center for Nano-technology, and its affiliation with the Soroka University Medical Center, BGU is a natural home for academic cooperation and cross- fertilization of ideas and approaches central to the philosophy of the NIBN.
